Rehabilitation facility files legal action, claiming former patient owes over $1,300

GRETNA – A medical company is seeking more than $1,300 in sums due.

Eastbank Medical Rehab LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Debbie Granier.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due and breach of contract. The suit states that the plaintiff issued services to the defendant and the defendant has remained negligent in remitting the balance owed to the plaintiff. The plaintiff is seeking $1,350 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due and breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Daniel Buras of Chehardy, Sherman, Williams, Murray, Recile, Stakelum & Hayes in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright Jr.
