Chase Bank files lawsuit seeking over $64,000 on unpaid mortgage

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $64,000 in sums due on an unpaid mortgage.

JPMorgan Chase Bank National Association filed a complaint on Dec. 19 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Julia Smith Miranda and Paul David Miranda.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an unpaid mortgage. The suit states the plaintiff is seeking the balance of $64,674.68 plus interest of 5.19 percent.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Stacy Wheat of Graham, Arceneaux & Allen LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen Grefer.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 790567.
