Ford Motor Credit seeks over $8,500 on automobile loan

GRETNA – A credit company alleges it is owed more than $8,500 on an auto loan.

Ford Motor Credit Co. LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 26 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Tina A. Gravois and Clyde M. Smith.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an open account in the balance of $8,528 plus interest of 12.29 percent on a 2015 Ford. The suit states that despite demands, the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff for the balance owed.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Keith Frey of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael Mentz.
