Southeastern Louisiana seeks over $2,400 in unpaid tuition and fees

GRETNA – A university is seeking more than $2,400 in sums due.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Southeastern Louisiana University filed a complaint on Dec. 26 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Ahkeel B. Hutson.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant attended the plaintiff's institution for the Spring 2015 semester. The plaintiff claims they are owed more than $2,475 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Amy Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright Jr.
