Couple claims organization withheld documentation of donation

NEW ORLEANS – A couple is seeking damages, alleging they were not given donation paperwork as requested.

Daniel Conwill IV and Mary Clare Conwill filed a complaint on Dec. 21 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against L.A.S.B.C. Inc.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place beginning on Nov. 19, 2012 when the plaintiff agreed to donate to PGP Investors. The suit states that in December 2018, the plaintiff sought an accounting of the fund, which was within his rights and that the accounting was not made available to him.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jennifer Barrier of Koch & Schmidt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
