Capital One seeks more than $2,900 on open account

GRETNA – A bank claims it is owed more than $2,900 from a customer.

Capital One Bank filed a complaint on Jan. 2 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Huey P. Burnett.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an open account in the balance of $2,943 plus interest. The plaintiff alleges it has made amicable demand for the balance owed but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Laura Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
