Barclays Bank claims customer owes more than $1,800 on unpaid account

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $1,800 in sums due.

Barclays Bank Delaware filed a complaint on Jan. 2 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Ricky L. Smith.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off a balance due in the amount of $1,896 plus interest. The plaintiff has allegedly sought amicable demand from the defendant but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 790849.
