Collections agency seeks more than $2,800 on unpaid Sears account

GRETNA – A funding company is seeking more than $2,800 in sums due.

Midland Funding LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Keoka Lyons.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has been negligent in paying off a balance. The plaintiff is seeking $2,880 plus interest on a Sears account. The defendant reportedly has made amicable demand, but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
