American Express seeks more than $71,000 on commercial account

GRETNA – American Express alleges it is owed more than $71,000 in sums due.

American Express National Bank filed a complaint on Jan. 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Paul M. Galaforo Jr. and Galaforo Construction LLC.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has remained negligent in a balance due for $71,651 on an American Express National Bank account. The defendant has allegedly failed to pay off the balance owed since accumulating the debt.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Edward Bukaty III in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
