Bank of America is seeking more than $15,000 in sums due

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking more than $15,000 on an open account.

Bank of America filed a complaint on Jan. 11 in the 24th Judicial District Court against John W. Spivey Jr.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off the balance owed on a credit card of $15,450 plus interest. The plaintiff allegedly has made amicable demand, but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 791169.
