Commercial driver seeks damages following traffic accident

GRETNA – An individual is seeking damages, alleging that a negligent driver struck him.

Tedros Gelagabir and Teddy G. Express LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 16 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Kourtney Paschal and Allstate Property and Casualty Insurance Co.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on June 15, 2018 when the plaintiff was driving in his capacity for Teddy G. Express. The suit states the defendant was negligent and failed to drive responsibly, striking the driver's side of the vehicle.

The defendant is accused of negligence and reckless driving.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Christopher Edward in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn Ansardi.
