Firemen's Federal Credit Union files lawsuit seeking over $4,200

GRETNA – A credit union is seeking more than $4,200 in sums due.

New Orleans Firemen's Federal Credit Union filed a complaint on Jan. 22 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Oscar E. Speer.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay a balance of $4,253 plus interest. The balance is from a credit card that the defendant allegedly has remained negligent on despite amicable demand.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph Mouton II of D'Aquila, Contreras & Vega in Kenner.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 791401.
