Jefferson Capital sues woman for alleged $2,000 debt

GRETNA – A debt collector is seeking more than $2,000 from a woman accused of failing to pay off an open account.

Jefferson Capital Systems LLC filed a complaint against Jodi Wiedow on Jan. 29 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that Wiedow failed to pay a balance of $2,034.01 on an open account despite amicable demand from Jefferson Capital.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by Jason B. Patrick of Rausch Sturm in Enterprise, Ala.


The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
