University claims former student owes more than $1,200

GRETNA – The University of New Orleans is seeking an unpaid balance of more than $1,200 from a former student.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors filed a complaint against Gayle Magalene Love through the school on Jan. 29 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, Love failed to pay $1,282.00 plus interest, which accrued while she was attending the university.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by Kaila M. Hutchison of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.


The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
