Bank of America alleges it is owed over $20,000 on a mortgage in default

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking more than $20,000 in sums due on an unpaid mortgage.

Bank of America filed a complaint on Jan. 30 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Karen Dias Devillier.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a mortgage balance. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off a mortgage in the balance of $20,643 plus interest of 8.25 percent per year until the balance is paid.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage balance.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Kristy Massey Finley of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 791678.
