Pacific Union Financial files court action on mortgage in default

GRETNA – A financial company is seeking more than $98,000 in sums due on a mortgage.

Pacific Union Financial filed a complaint on Jan. 31 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Karen Marie Guillot Day.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an unpaid mortgage. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off a mortgage in the balance of $98,523 plus interest of 3.875 percent per year until the balance is paid. The plaintiff alleges defendant has failed to pay off the account despite amicable demand.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Kristy Massey Finley of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
