Man sued for failing to pay $5,500 Capital One credit card bill

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $5,500 on a customer's open account.

The financial institution filed a complaint against Cassy K. Cannon on Feb. 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $5,555.75 plus interest. The bank claims it has made amicable demand, but to no avail.

Capital One is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Laura A. Guliuzo of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.


The case has been assigned to Division F Judge MIchael P. Mentz.
