Jefferson Capital seeks $2,000 on a customer's open account

GRETNA – Jefferson Capital Systems LLC is seeking more than $2,000 it claims a woman has failed to pay on her account.

The finance company filed a complaint against Deloris Snow on Feb. 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off an open account in the balance of $2,020.96 plus interest. The plaintiff has made amicable demand to the plaintiff, the suit claims, but to no avail.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Charles F. Dismukes of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
