GRETNA – An individual who claims that his vehicle was struck by a negligent driver is seeking damages in a lawsuit.
Avery Vitto Jr. filed a complaint against Hudson Insurance Company, ACME Truck Line Inc. and Stephen Alexander on Feb. 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff is seeking damages for negligence in a car accident.
The suit states that the defendant was operating a 2017 Dodge Ram Truck on March 29, 2018, when the plaintiff was struck from the rear by the defendant's vehicle. The defendant is accused of negligence resulting in a car accident.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John G. Munoz of Garner & Munoz in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
