Capital One files lawsuit seeking over $2,600

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $2,600 in sums due.

Capital One Bank filed a complaint on Feb. 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Shirley Almodovar.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an account balance of $2,675 plus interest. The plaintiff alleges defendant has failed to pay off the account despite amicable demand.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Linly Hall of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn Ansardi.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 792009.
