GRETNA – The State of Louisiana Division of Administration Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit alleges that a woman owes $30,000 in grant money that was misallocated.

The state filed a complaint against Patricia Diehl Drumm on Feb. 7 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant received $30,000 in the form of a grant that was meant for the purpose of repairing a home. However, the suit claims the defendant was negligent and misused the balance and is now indebted for $30,000 in sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John C. Walsh of Shows, Cali & Walsh LLP in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
