Capital One claims customer owes more than $32,000

NEW ORLEANS – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $32,000 it claims is due on a woman's open account.

Cavalry SPV I LLC, as assignee of Capital One, filed a complaint against Amber Jackson on Feb. 11 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that Jackson failed to pay off a balance of $32,422.44 plus interest despite an amicable demand. 

Capital One seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Edward F. Bukaty III in Metairie.


The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher M. Bruno.
