Eagle Louisiana claims customer neglected $3,300 balance

GRETNA – Eagle Louisiana Federal Credit Union has sued a customer it alleges owes more than $3,300 on an open account.

The credit union filed a complaint against Jamie Elphage on Feb. 19 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due of $3,382.89 plus interest on an open account. The suit claims the plaintiff has made amicable demand to the defendant but to no avail.

Eagle Louisiana Federal Credit Union, represented by W. Michael Stemmens of Stemmens & Alley in Baton Rouge, is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
