Barclays Bank Delaware files lawsuit seeking more than $2,800

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $2,800 in sums due on an open account.

Barclays Bank Delaware filed a complaint on Feb. 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Iman Tawfiq Husein.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states that the defendant was negligent in paying off the balance of $2,889.38. The plaintiff has made amicable demand but to no avail.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.
