Barclays Bank alleges negligent customer owes $2,000

GRETNA – Barclays Bank Delaware is seeking nearly $2,000 on an open account, claiming that a customer was negligent in paying off his balance.

The financial institution filed a complaint against Ausitn B. Tingelhoff on Feb. 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of $1,988.50 plus interest. The plaintiff has made amicable demand, the suit claims, but to no avail.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. Barclays is represented by Paul S. Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie. 


The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
