Freedom Mortgage seeks nearly $86,000 on alleged debt

GRETNA – Freedom Mortgage Corp. alleges that it is owed more than $85,000 on a woman's unpaid mortgage.

The lender filed a complaint against Sandra Marie Simlin on Feb. 19 in the 24th Judicial District Court. According to the lawsuit, Freedom Mortgage states that Simlin has failed to pay off the balance of $85,747.24 plus interest, accusing the defendant of sums due on an unpaid mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. Freedom Mortgage is represented by Rader Jackson of Jackson & McPherson LLC in New Orleans.


The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison.
