Finance company seeks over $125,000 on an open account

GRETNA – A financial company claims it is owed more than $125,000 in sums due.

SBN V. FNBC LLC filed a complaint on Feb. 27 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Shelley Hammond Provosty LLC and Shelley Hammond Provosty. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an account balance of $125,000 plus interest. The plaintiff alleges defendant has failed to pay off the account despite amicable demand.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an unpaid account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Mark Landry of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy Miller.
