Assignee of Citibank seeks more than $27,000 on open account

GRETNA – A finance company claims it is owed more than $27,000 in sums due.

JHPDE Finance 1 LLC, assignee of Citibank, filed a complaint on Feb. 26 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Tina Oubre.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an account balance of $27,716 plus interest. The plaintiff alleges defendant has failed to pay off the account despite amicable demand.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jason Patrick of Rausch Sturm in Birmingham, Alabama.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen Grefer.
