Barclays Bank Delaware files legal action seeking over $2,800

GRETNA – A bank is seeking more than $2,800 in sums due.

Barclays Bank Delaware filed a complaint on Feb. 28 in the 24th Judicial District Court against James F. Elton.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off an account balance of $2,827 plus interest. The plaintiff alleges defendant has failed to pay off the account despite amicable demand.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Brennan of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald Rowan Jr.
