GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish man is being sued for breach of contract after he allegedly failed to keep an agreement.
Gowri S. Kailas and VS LLC filed a complaint on March 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Ashton J. Ryan Jr.
According to the complaint, in March 2009 the plaintiffs entered into an agreement for the sale of membership interest of Lake Forest Plaza LLC to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant has been negligent in the role and the breached contract.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
The plaintiffs are seeking $1.5 million in liquidated damages, attorney fees and court costs. They are represented by Jeffrey T. Greenberg in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
