Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar patron alleges wet floor caused fall

GRETNA – A patron of a Metairie restaurant alleges its owners failed to clean a liquid on the floor that caused her to fall.

Adrienne Rhodes filed a complaint on March 12 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Somex Restaurants LLC, doing business as Walk-Ons Metairie; Brechtel Hospitality LLC; Walk-On's Enterprises Operations LLC; Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar New Orleans LLC; and XYZ insurance company.

According to the complaint, on March 18, 2018, the plaintiff was at Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar in Metairie as a customer and slipped and fell on a liquid that was on the floor, causing injuries.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to warn her, failed to clean the area and failed to provide a reasonably safe place to walk.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Brian King, Jason F. Giles, Anthony J. Milazzo III and Sean M. Regan of The King Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
