GRETNA – A woman is suing Walmart, alleging she was caused to slip and fall.
Deborah Schwab filed a complaint on March 12 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Walmart Inc.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on March 16, 2018 when the plaintiff was at the Walmart at 300 W. Esplanade Ave. The suit states the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall on a substance on the ground.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by D. Patrick Keating of Nugent Keating in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
