Walgreens is named in trip and fall lawsuit

GRETNA – An individual is suing Walgreens for an alleged trip and fall.

Terryl Staub filed a complaint on March 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Walgreens Louisiana Co. Inc. and Walgreens Family of Companies.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place March 18, 2018, when the plaintiff was at  7101 Veterans Memorial Blvd. The plaintiff allegedly was caused to trip and fall due to a poorly maintained premise that was due to the defendant's negligence.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Brian King of The King Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 793248.
