Woman claims she fell on a dangerous threshold in a Walmart store

GRETNA – A woman is suing Walmart following a fall allegedly due to a dangerous threshold.

Carol B. Naquin filed a complaint on March 19 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Walmart Stores Inc.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on March 24, 2018, when the plaintiff was at the Walmart on Veterans Boulevard in Kenner. The plaintiff allegedly was caused to fall after her foot became caught on the threshold.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Anthony Glorioso in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
