GRETNA – A woman is suing Macy's, alleging that she was injured after falling at a shopping center.
Gretchen Thompson filed a complaint on April 4 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Macy's Retail Holdings Inc. and FEIL Organization LLC dba Lakeside Shopping Center. According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on July 18, 2018 when the plaintiff was shopping at the defendant's property and was caused to trip and fall over a wheel stop in the pedestrian path.
The defendant is accused of negligence. The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. Thompson is represented by David Vosbein in Navarre.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
