Trial lawyers from around the country are expected to gather in New Orleans this weekend for the American Association for Justice's Annual Winter Convention.
The convention at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Center is set to begin 7 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 and adjourn 11 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11.
"The Convention is a gathering of some of the nation's top plaintiffs' attorneys who converge to discuss the latest trends in litigation across numerous practice areas, participate in specialized continuing legal education programs and network with others engaged in similar cases," Counsel Financial said in its own new release about the convention.
Counsel Financial, the largest provider of working capital credit lines and other financial solutions for plaintiffs' attorneys that has been exclusively endorsed by AAJ for law firm financing since 2006, is a diamond sponsor of this long weekend's convention.
Counsel Financial also is scheduled to host the panel discussion "Emerging Torts: Latest News from the Experts," on Sunday afternoon during the convention. The panel discussion is expected to focus on the developments in litigation. Participants will have an opportunity to hear from litigators in the U.S. on topics including 3M Combat Arms Earplugs, Zantac, Truvada, rideshare litigation and sex abuse cases and more.

The next AAJ Annual Winter Convention is scheduled Feb. 6 - 9 in Palm Springs, California.
