Mouledoux, Bland, Legrand & Brackett is pleased to announce that Christopher B. Prudhomme has joined the firm as an associate attorney.
Associate Christopher B. Prudhomme’s areas of practice include the defense of employers and insurance carriers for claims arising under the Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, Defense Base Act, and War Hazards Compensation Act as well as Workers’ Compensation.
In practice, Chris values the act of problem solving and resolving matters in the best interest of his clients. “As a legal representative of various corporate entities, the most important aspect of my job is to obtain the best results for my clients in a time-efficient and fiscal manner. My focus is to maintain open and concise communication with my clients and parties to litigation, so as to achieve just resolution that is in their best interest. It is my mission to provide my clients with clear and concise legal analysis and litigation plans to help foster a level of confidence in our firm that sets us apart from the rest.”
While attending Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Chris worked as a Judicial Extern for Judge Guy Holdridge at the Louisiana Court of Appeal, First Circuit. As a Judicial Extern, Chris experienced the value of oral advocacy and effective legal writing. Chris was also a board member of the trial advocacy and moot court board at Paul M. Hebert Law Center. He competed in oral advocacy competitions, including the Wagner Labor & Employment Law Moot Court Competition in New York City which was based on a fictitious Jones Act case.
Chris is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. In his free time, Chris enjoys running and exercise, and attending LSU football and basketball games, as well as Saints and Pelicans games.
