TAYLOR PORTERS BROOKS & PHILIIPS LLP: Philips to Lead Louisiana Bar Foundation’s Civil Legal Aid Educational Sessions

Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips LLP issued the following announcement on Oct. 23.

Taylor Porter Partner Skip Philips, who serves as president of the Louisiana Bar Foundation, will lead a series of educational sessions on civil legal aid, increased need for services, and how it impacts your region, for the LBF "Virtual Pop Up Tour," set to kick off Oct. 27.

Each session will last 30 minutes via Zoom webinar, and for attorneys, this free educational session has been approved for.5 hours of professionalism CLE credit. This webinar is offered nine times and tailored by region. Attending multiple webinars will only count as.5 hours of professionalism CLE credit.

How civil legal aid needs are increasing because the COVID-19 pandemic and series of devastating hurricanes.

The critical need for investments in civil legal aid and the major economic and community benefits those investments provide.
