NEW ORLEANS - The United States Postal Service was called to New Orleans federal court by an Orleans Parish woman who was allegedly injured while checking her mail.
According to a personal injury complaint filed on March 31, plaintiff Sandra Parker visited her local post office at 9600 Lake Forest Blvd. in New Orleans on March 30, 2019, to check her mail.
Parker says she tripped on a loose, detached piece of cement and fell, sustaining injuries to her left wrist that required two surgical operations and rehabilitation.
Parker requests the court award damages for her injuries as deemed fit. She is represented by Randal Gaines.
