NEW ORLEANS - Seadrill Americas Inc. was called to federal court after a man was severely injured in a workplace accident.
The complaint was filed by plaintiff Henry Antoine on April 13 in the Eastern Louisiana District Court. Antoine was picking up pipe at at the defendant's yard in Houma on July 13, 2020.
While preparing to load the pipe, Antoine says that a forklift operated by a Seadrill employee dropped pipes onto the plaintiff.
Antoine says he sustained serious injuries to his spine, head, jaw, ribs and others.
The plaintiff is represented by the Blake Jones Law Firm of New Orleans in his request for personal injury damages.
