Woman sues Forever 21 for allegedly slipping and falling

NEW ORLEANS - Karen Brown filed a complaint on Aug. 26 in Jefferson Parish District Court against Forever 21 Retail, Inc. d/b/a Forever 21 and National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA for premises liability. 

According to the complaint, Brown was at a Forever 21 Retail Center on Sept. 5, 2020, and as she was shopping, she slipped and fell on uneven floor tile that was not marked for customers to be made aware of the dangers. 

Brown seeks compensation for her damages, cost of suit and attorney's fees. Brown is represented by Michael J,. Begoun. The defendants recently removed the case to federal court.
