September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and I can't help but think of the late great Margaret Mary Mule. A wife, a mother, a public school teacher, and the first female administrative assistant for the city of New Orleans- Margaret Mary dedicated her life in service to others. Unfortunately, she passed a couple years ago after an absolutely courageous battle with ovarian cancer. So today, I am encouraging everyone to #KnowOvarian and learn more about this silent killer.
