A Louisiana man says the Porsche he purchased was defective.
Steven M. Nakash filed his lawsuit in federal court against Porsche Cars North America Inc..
According to the complaint, Nakash purchased a 2022 Porsche Targa 4S for $213,000 on April 25, 2022. But he says the vehicle was faulty in materials and workmanship. He claims defects were discovered shortly after purchase and despite numerous attempts to have them repaired by Porsche and its authorized dealers, the issues persist.
Nakash says he notified Porsche of the defects multiple times, but the company failed to repair them. He says neither he nor a reasonable prudent buyer would have purchased the Targa 4S had they known about these defects prior to sale.
He seeks compensatory and nonpecuniary damages claiming the car's defects meet the definition of a redhibitory.
