A Denham Springs man says the 2023 Ram 2500 he purchased was defective.

Joseph L. Persilver filed his federal lawsuit against FCA US LLC.

Persilver claims the vehicle had issues related to its engine, steering, alignment and electrical components. Despite taking the vehicle to an authorized service and repair facility for repairs multiple times between May and September 2023, the problems persisted. He alleges these defects were present at the time of purchase and have resulted in reliability and safety concerns.

The plaintiff is seeking compensatory damages under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and Redhibition.
