In the case of Tommy Willis vs. Tim Huck, filed in the U.S. District Court under case ID 5:24-cv-00573-JE-M LG, a civil suit has been initiated on grounds of diversity jurisdiction. The plaintiff, Tommy Willis, hails from Bend County, Texas while the defendant, Tim Huck, is from Bossier Parish. The plaintiff's attorney is Larry English from New York.

On November 13th, 2023 plaintiff Tommy Willis entered into an contract with Tim Huck and Club Phoenix 2.0 to have his client Ricky Hampton perform a concert on December 15th, 2023 in Shreveport, LA.  The plaintiff was paid $26,000 up front and was to be paid another $20,000 after the show.  They later agreed to a 50/50 split of ticket sales. On December 16th, 2023 the concert was completed.

After the show, the plaintiff and Mr. Huck were in the office of Club Phoenix when the plainitff asked "what's the split?" to which the defendant responded "it isn't no damn split if anything you own me money, we didn't make any money." The plaintiff insisted that the defendants owed his client money at which time Mr. Huck pulled out a gun and told the plaintiff to leave unless he wanted to be killed.

Once outside the club the plaintiff called the police who arrived and started an investigation.  Mr. Huck admitted to the police to having a 9mm pistol during the altercation with the plaintiff but denied removing it from his holster and also stated that he believed the plaintiff would rob him.  Mr. Huck was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm. The Caddo Parrish District Attorney did not pursue criminal charges against Huck.

Mr. Huck later published defamatory statements on various local, state and national media outlets and social media sites that the plaintiff attempted to rob him with no evidence.

Tommy Willis seeks judgment against Tim Huck and Club Phoenix for the defamation and loss of reputation as a direct result of Mr. Huck's various false and defamatory statements. The plaintiff is asked for $10,000,000 in compensatory damages.
