Attorney General Murrill’s Office arrests Slidell man for distribution and possession of pornography involving juveniles

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a Slidell man on August 13, 2024.

34-year-old Ryan Wesley Cadard, of Maplewood Drive in Slidell, was arrested for violating:

LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Distribution of) Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; fifty-five (55) counts

LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Possession of) Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; six (6) counts.

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. 

Cadard was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.

There is no bond information at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
