Attorney General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrests Pineville man for possession of pornography involving juveniles

Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested a man from Pineville on October 17, 2024.

40-year-old Michael Paul Renbarger, of Susek Drive in Pineville, was arrested for:

7 Counts of LA RS 14:81.1E(5)(a) Pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 (Felony)

LADOJ agents initially got a tip from the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police Special Victim’s Unit, and Homeland Security Investigations.

Renbarger was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. 

There’s no word on his bond information at this time. 

The investigation is ongoing.
