Law Center Alumni Honored with Baton Rouge Bar Association Pro Bono Awards

Three distinguished Southern University Law Center (SULC) alumni have been honored with the Baton Rouge Bar Association Pro Bono Award for their outstanding service to the community.

Each of these individuals has demonstrated remarkable dedication to pro bono work, earning them recognition within the legal community:

  • Cynthia Reed (Class of 1990): Achieved the impressive milestone of 1,200+ hours of service, securing a place in the Crystal Century Club.
  • Todd Gaudin (Class of 1996): Contributed 200 hours of service, earning membership in the Century Club.
  • Carlesia Carmena-Bibbons (Class of 2020): Dedicated 100 hours of service, also joining the Century Club.
These accolades underscore the commitment of SULC alumni to making a meaningful impact through their legal expertise and community service.
