Agents with Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested two men from Marrero on December 11, 2024.

30-year-old Nicholas Ryan Bruce, of Virginia Lee Drive in Marrero, was arrested for violating:

  • LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Distribution of) Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; 12 counts
26-year-old Elijah Darrell Taylor, of Victoria Drive in Marrero, was arrested for violating:

  • LA R.S. 14:81.1 (Possession of) Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen; 11  counts
Agents initially got tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

While these two cases are separate and not related, both arrests were the result of collaboration with the same law enforcement partners.  That includes General Murrill’s Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Both Bruce and Taylor were transported to the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center and booked accordingly.

Their bond information is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
