LBI agents arrest New Iberia man for 50 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles

Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill's Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a man from New Iberia on April 21, 2025.

34-year-old Riley Joseph Broussard, of Randy Drive in New Iberia, was arrested for violating:

50 Count(s) of 14:81.1-- Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of 13 (Felony) 

Agents initially got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

This arrest was a result of a joint investigation with The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation Cyber Crime Unit, the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.

The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office also charged Broussard for violating:

2 counts of LA 14:95.1 Possession of Firearm or Carrying Concealed Weapon by a Person Convicted of Certain Felonies

1 count of 14:95.3 Unlawful Use of Body Armor.

Broussard was transported to the Iberia Parish Jail, where he was booked on the above-mentioned charges. 

His bond information is still pending at this time.
